Inventory of Closed Mining Waste Facilities (England and Wales)

This map shows an inventory of 148 closed or abandoned mine waste facilities causing "sufficiently serious" environmental impacts in England and Wales.
The inventory was created by the Environment Agency to comply with Article 20 of the European Mining Waste Directive (2006/21/EC).
